Nordship 360 DS Standard Specification:

The boat and equipment are built according to EU guidelines for CE certification and approved to Category 'A' - ocean. This is a detailed description of the standard equipment and layout of the 360 DS. Extras and additional options are available, for details please contact Nordship Yachts UK.

Hull and deck

  • 12 volt system with 100 AH starter battery and 3 X 100 AH auxiliary/general use batteries
  • Electrical control panel with gauge for water, fuel and waste tank and a 12 volt socket
  • International approved 3 colour navigation light and deck light
  • Halogen spots in the ceiling, up lights / reading lights on bulkheads, working light in galley and chart lamp

Heating, water and waste

  • Stainless steel freshwater tank with a capacity of 400 litres
  • Waste tank with 100 litre capacity

Hull and deck

The hull and deck are hand laminated. The Dark blue sheer line and waterlines are moulded into the gel coat. Sandwich construction, including deck and superstructure is used down to the reinforcement frame where the hull is solid. The Hull and deck are bonded and bolted. The lead keel with its composite shaft is bolted to the hull with stainless steel bolts. GRP Rudder with Aluminium rudder stock. The hull below the waterline is treated with Epoxy primer and antifouling.

On Deck

There is teak on the side decks, cockpit sole, cockpit seats and bathing platform. A robust and solid teak toe rail ensures safety along with an integral laminated non slip surface in the GRP. Stainless steel grab rails are sited on the deck saloon roof. On the forward cabin top are mounted an integrated self tacking system for the jib, 2x Electrolux ventilators. Windows in aluminium frames with 'Securit' glass in the deck saloon. Skylight mounted for cabin, pantry, toilet and deck saloon. 4 heavy cleats. Stainless steel Guardrail, pulpit and push pit. Anchor locker in foredeck and bathing ladder on platform is also included.

Cockpit

The cockpit is T-shaped and gives comfortable seating for 5 persons. The forward part is absolutely free of rope and lines, which is all lead back to the helmsman's position. There is access to the deck saloon via the companionway, which includes a sliding acrylic hatch. On the port side of the cockpit there is access to the large cockpit locker (also accessible from the aft cabin). Throttle and compass is mounted. Behind the wheel there is also 1 locker and 1 storage locker for gas cylinder. The Main sheet is placed just in front of the helmsman for easy handling. The cockpit is self draining trough the open stern.

Mast rig and sails

Silver anodised mast with 19/20 rigging and 2x sets of spreaders. The mast is stepped on deck and supported by a steel compression tube from the deck to the keel. The boom is fitted with outhaul, rod kicker and 2 reefs. On the mast there is a winch for the Genoa halyard. The main halyard and the reefing lines are lead back to the helm position through pipes in the superstructure. Split backstay with mechanical backstay adjuster. All bottle screws have bronze barrels to avoid binding.

Engine

4-cylinder, fresh water cooled Volvo Penta Diesel D2-40, 38HP (other engine options are available) with sail drive and 3 bladed fixed propeller to ensure smooth and low vibration running. Fitted with fuel and seawater filter. Effective sound insulation with rubber plate with lead and over that a foam also with lead. The whole insulation is protected against dirt by an aluminium foil. Good access to the engine. The engine control instrument with acoustic alarms, start and stop, is mounted in the cockpit and the throttle control is fitted in the cockpit coaming. The engine is served by a 200 litre stainless steel fuel tank.

Electric system

12 volt system with 100 AH engine start battery and 3x 100 AH auxiliary/general use batteries. Isolated circuits. Master switch and control panel, with fuses, voltmeter, 12 volt socket and gauges for water, fuel and waste tank. 115 AH 3 phase generator charge level control on engine. Lighting throughout the boat: Halogen spots in the headlining, reading lamps, working light in galley and chart lamp. International compliant tri-colour light, steaming light, anchor light and deck light.

Heating, water and waste

40 litres heated Stainless steel hot water tank heated by the engine, electric pressurised water system capacity 100 Litre waste tank with vacuum drain in deck or draining into the sea via seacock. Electric shower drain (over board) and electric and manual bilge pumps.

Interior Finish

Top quality mahogany finished in matt varnish. Panelled doors and locker doors with solid frames. Floors in matt varnished teak on ply with inlaid bright stripes. Ceiling cover in white leatherette with mahogany inserts. Choice of high quality upholsteries. Curtains to all side windows.

Deck Saloon

To port the deck saloon has a large U-shaped sofa around a spacious dining table, which is raised to ensure a panoramic view through the extensive windows while seated. Below the table is integral bottle storage. To starboard there is a large chart table. The switchboard is hidden in a cupboard. An internal helm position is offered optionally. There is ample storage throughout the cabin.

Galley

To starboard side forward of the saloon, there is a large longitudinal galley with white work surface, a gimballed oven with 2 burners. Double sink with hot and cold pressurised water,110 litre built in refrigerator with mahogany veneer door trim. Generous storage with drawers and cupboards is provided.

Fore cabin

The fore cabin which is the master bedroom on the 360 DS offers a large double berth. Aft of the berth there are 2 cupboards and storage for shoes. The inside of the hull is panelled with horizontal solid mahogany stripes. In the roof there is a large skylight with blind.

Toilet compartment

A spacious toilet compartment with marine toilet, with lockers above and beneath the washbasin. Hot and cold pressurised water. In the aft of the compartment there is a spacious shower with curtain. Corian floor with shower drain. The bulkheads are covered in white laminate with doors and trim of solid mahogany.

Aft cabin

From the deck saloon there is access to the lovely aft cabin with a large double bed placed to the starboard side. Beside the bed there is a seat and plenty of cupboards and lockers. The hull is panelled with horizontal solid mahogany stripes. From the aft cabin there is access to the large cockpit locker and workroom.
